RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who can own the final stretch of development for our web platform. The core architecture and design are already in place — including a complete Figma design, an established Next.js frontend, a NestJS backend, and a PostgreSQL database. Your mission: step in, review what’s been built, clean up the structure where needed, and deliver a fully optimized, production-ready platform. DescriptionYou’ll collaborate directly with the company founder and a small, focused team. You’ll have creative freedom to make architectural and technical decisions, ensure best practices, and deliver clean, maintainable, and secure code. Key responsibilities include:Reviewing and finalizing existing frontend (Next.js) and backend (NestJS) codebases. Integrating PostgreSQL with scalable, well-designed schemas. Building new features based on Figma designs and refining existing ones. Optimizing performance, security, and database queries. Ensuring seamless API communication and real-time responsiveness. Preparing the platform for public launch and ongoing maintainability. QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 6+ years of full-stack development experience SPECIFICALLY with Next.js, NestJS, and PostgreSQL. Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL. Strong experience with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling. Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS / Vercel / Docker). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership from start to finish.
