The Cards Risk Analytics team is part of the Consumer Banking Risk Management team within Consumer and Community Banking Risk. This team is responsible to understand and monitor trends to provide actionable insights, statistical evaluation across a range of risk analytics initiatives to drive strategic decisions.
As a Consumer Banking - Cards Risk Strategic Analytics - Associate within the Consumer Card Strategy Team, you will perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on credit card customers to determine the optimal credit risk strategy to be employed through the card life cycle. Your role includes assisting in developing, maintaining, and improving program policies, strategies, processes, and procedures within the assigned function. You will be conducting complex analysis and providing accurate and concise results with recommendations to management. Your primary tools will be advanced techniques to perform assigned work.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain periodic analytics to provide management with full insight into emerging trends and the quality of the originated accounts Attain a detailed understanding of key performance metrics and profitability drivers, enabling the delivery of insights encompassing the full account lifecycle Acquire an understanding of the operational processes (. manual underwriting, portfolio management, collections) which will aid in understanding acquisition performance drivers Conduct ad hoc analytics and contribute to various projects representing Risk ManagementRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
MS degree and 5 plus years of Risk Management or other quantitative experience. Otherwise, BS degree and minimum 6 plus years of Risk Management or other quantitative experience required Background in statistics, econometric, or other quantitative field required Advanced understanding of SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, or other decision tree software Ability to query large amounts of data and transform the raw data into actionable management information Familiarity with risk analytic techniquesPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Prior experience of working in Cards industry in strategy / policy role-
