Senior Neo4j Developer - Knowledge Graph Engineer Position Overview Build and implement enterprise Knowledge Graph infrastructure, data pipelines, and integrations using Neo4j AuraDB and Graph Data Science capabilities. Key Responsibilities Data Ingestion & Pipeline Development (Primary Focus) ·      Develop and implement Knowledge Graph data ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured data ·      Build ETL/ELT transformations to map enterprise data to ontology and graph structures ·      Implement data alignment logic to semantic rules and ontology models ·      Design and build automated data quality checks and validation frameworks ·      Implement data lineage tracking and deduplication governance ·      Develop data versioning and rollback capabilities CI/CD Pipeline Implementation ·      Build Git-based versioning systems for ontology artifacts ·      Implement automated unit and integration validation for ontology changes ·      Develop build and release pipelines for ontology deployment across environments ·      Create automated ingestion pipeline deployments ·      Implement approval workflows for schema evolution ·      Set up GitHub-based source code management for all components Neo4j AuraDB Integration & Platform Engineering ·      Configure and optimize Neo4j AuraDB instances ·      Establish connectivity between AuraDB and cloud environments (Azure/AWS) ·      Implement role mapping, security integration, and policy alignment ·      Set up performance monitoring dashboards, alerts, and health checks ·      Establish baseline performance metrics (throughput, latency, capacity) ·      Implement SLA monitoring using Neo4j observability tools ·      Optimize Cypher queries for performance Graph Data Science & ML Integration Implement Graph Data Science (GDS) pipelines including: ·      Node embeddings ·      Graph metrics and algorithms ·      Community detection ·      Centrality measures ·      Similarity algorithms ·      Generate ML-ready feature sets for downstream modeling ·      Build automated refresh mechanisms for graph features ·      Integrate graph features into existing ML/MLOps pipelines ·      Create seamless export patterns for AI workflows Operations & Monitoring ·      Develop performance baseline and capacity assessments ·      Create runbooks and support procedures ·      Implement monitoring and alerting systems ·      Collaborate with Data Services teams for operational handoff Required Qualifications Technical Expertise ·      7+ years in data engineering and pipeline development ·      3+ years hands-on experience with Neo4j AuraDB (certification required: Neo4j Certified Professional) ·      Strong expertise in Cypher query language and query optimization ·      Experience with Neo4j Graph Data Science (GDS) library ·      Proficiency in Python or Java for pipeline development ·      Strong ETL/ELT development experience Platform & Cloud Experience ·      Experience with Neo4j AuraDB SaaS platform ·      Cloud environment experience - Azure or AWS (connectivity, integration) ·      CI/CD pipeline development (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) ·      Experience with Git-based version control and branching strategies Data & ML Integration ·      Experience integrating graph features with ML pipelines ·      Understanding of data science workflows and feature engineering ·      Knowledge of data quality frameworks and governance ·      Experience with data lineage and metadata management Tools & Technologies ·      Neo4j AuraDB, Neo4j Browser, Neo4j Bloom ·      Neo4j Graph Data Science library ·      Python (pandas, neo4j-driver, networkx) ·      ETL tools and frameworks ·      GitHub, CI/CD tools ·      Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or similar) ·      Cloud services (Azure/AWS connectivity layer) Soft Skills ·      Strong problem-solving and debugging skills ·      Ability to optimize for performance and scalability ·      Code review and mentoring capabilities ·      Collaborative approach with architects and data scientists Team Collaboration This role will work closely with Neo4j Designers and other team members: ·      Designers create the "what" (ontologies, schemas, models) ·      Developer builds the "how" (pipelines, integrations, automation) ·      Joint responsibility for ensuring semantic models are properly implemented and performant Project-Specific Requirements ·      Verifiable enterprise Knowledge Graph delivery experience ·      Available for weekly status calls and project updates ·      Ability to work within established governance and approval frameworks ·      Strong documentation and knowledge transfer capabilities Please share your profile on
