This opportunity sits within the Center of Excellence’s Transformation Team, that is focused on reshaping the future of Finance at Synopsys, driving strategy, process, system, structural and behavioral change across the finance function. The Anaplan Model Builder role will work with the Solution Architect and Corporate Senior Director, partnering with Synopsys leadership globally to drive transformative change in the collaborative planning and forecasting processes.

We are looking for a proven change leader excited to usher new era of digital finance at Synopsys. The ideal candidate should be a good problem-solver with a keen ability to diagnose function needs, deal with ambiguity, identify where we are and where we want to be, develop a blueprint / roadmap, and execute.The Anaplan Model Builder will be working on projects that may emanate from Asia, Europe and US finance teams hence flexible to collaborate with different time zones.

Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the Model Builder SME for large-scale connected planning solutionsGathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirementsTranslate business requirements into functional requirements and use casesTranslate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional modelsModify existing models as part of a connected solution, optimization, or to incorporate new functionalityDevelop model documentationParticipate in data integration and migration solutionsParticipate and/or lead UAT testing and deploymentOperate cross-functionally with some ambiguity, and provide expertise to Strategy and FP&A teams on best practices for modeling and reportingBuilds and develops Anaplan modules and list based on model blueprintConfigure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, actions, and other model settings to meet business needsMonitor data flows to and from source systems to ensure all data is up-to-date and accuratePerform root cause analyses and propose solutionsProvide hands-on training to new end users on Anaplan models and document processesWork closely with Anaplan Solution Architect

Desired Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology Information Systems, or equivalent degree or other relevant fields of study3 years or more experience in operations or FP&A leveraging Anaplan or completed 3 or more Anaplan implementation projects as a Model BuilderCertified Anaplan Model Builder, level 2 or higherExperience with SAP Analytics Cloud is a plusExemplifies Connected Planning CultureAdvanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skillsExperience using and configuring multi-dimensional or cube-based planning and reporting tools.Strong understanding of business processesStrong written and verbal communication skillsOutstanding integrity, initiative, creativity, and passionRecord of career progression with increasing levels of responsibilityExperience in a fast changing, fast-paced environmentExcellent teamwork, including the ability to interact with all organization levels
