Role: Embedded Java Application Developer

Education: Degree in Computer Science/Information Science

Job Responsibility

Design and development of Azure cloud solutions Work closely with client to gather requirements, participate in architecture and design phase. Monitor and optimize cloud solutions for performance efficiency. Provide technical support for cloud-based applications. Diagnose and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner. Willing to work on C++. Willing to work on vehicle communication protocols such as J1939 and communication protocols like MQTT. Willingness to attend meetings during US morning hours. Willingness to extend the working hours for debugging/solving production issues.

Experience:

5+ years of Professional experience in software development Experience in applying computer science fundamentals in software development via Object Oriented design, data structures, algorithm design Experience in Java 8 features, Spring boot, relational databases Experience in building scalable, maintainable and secure cloud solutions preferable deployable in Microsoft Azure Experience in working on Microsoft Azure application service, Blob Storage, IOT hub, Azure SQL Databases. Experience in working with asynchronous programming technologies and techniques Good to have experience in developing Over The Air update solutions. Good to have experience in C++. Good to have experience in MQTT. Good to have experience working with embedded domain earlier and aware of the J1939 communication protocols.

Must have skills:

Strong coding skills in Java 8 or above and spring boot Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and deployment practices for cloud application Familiarity with Agile, DevOps Practices and CI/CD pipeline Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Good to have skills:

  • Experience/knowledge on C++
  • Experience/knowledge on building embedded applications using vehicle communication protocols
