IT Business Consultant - SAP IBP for Response / (a)ATP

Experience Required: Minimum 8 years

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Configure and implement SAP IBP for Response / (a)ATP to support supply and response planning
  • Work with business teams to understand requirements and convert them into system setups
  • Design and fine-tune supply planning algorithms using heuristics and optimizer
  • Set up allocation planning, fair share distribution, and constraint-based planning
  • Integrate IBP with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and external systems using CPI-DS / SDI
  • Build and maintain planning models, key figures, and dashboards using SAP Fiori and Excel UI
  • Support system testing, user training, and post-go-live activities
  • Troubleshoot and improve system performance for demand-supply balancing
  • Collaborate with teams in demand planning, inventory, and procurement

What Were Looking For:

  • 7+ years of hands-on strong experience in SAP IBP, especially in Response / (a)ATP
  • Strong skills in AMS (Application Maintenance & Service)
  • Strong skills in heuristics, optimizer, and allocation planning
  • Experience integrating IBP with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, or other ERP systems.
  • Exposure to SAP APO and transitioning to IBP is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI-DS) or SDI for data integration.
  • Knowledge of RTI, CIF, and enhancing S4 extractors
  • Experience in planning models, key figures, and analytics
  • End-to-end project experience including implementation and support
  • SAP IBP certification is an added advantage
