We are seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and databases. You will work closely with front-end developers, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions that meet business requirements and performance objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs using backend technologies.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Develop database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability through code refactoring, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues reported by QA or end-users, and implement timely solutions.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize features, enhancements, and technical debt.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in backend development and incorporate them into projects as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer with expertise in at least one of the following backend languages: Java, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby on Rails, . NET, C#, or Golang.
  • Strong understanding of server-side programming concepts, such as asynchronous programming, multi-threading, and concurrency.
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, and proficiency in writing SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with web development frameworks and tools relevant to the chosen backend language(s).
  • Knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git and agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
