Oracle DBA Job Description:Building and supporting production database systems for high availability and optimal performance.Designing and implementing databases and database objects in compliance with best practicesDefining / Creating users and enabling data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely mannerPro-active monitoring of Database Instance wait-events and loads.Supporting the application teams for Oracle database deployments and sprint releases.Tuning Oracle Database instance components.Monitor use of disk space, memory, and connections on Server.Check Oracle trace files /Alert Log for abnormal behaviors.Exposure to Change / Release Management using JIRA or ServiceNow.Required skills:Must have strong Oral, Verbal, Written communication SkillsMust have worked/communicated directly with American Customer(s).Must have work independently as DBA and must have managed large enterprise level applications, Databases, Unix boxes.Ready to take challenge to work in high pressure environment.Oracle Architecture 11g, 19cOracle Database installation and administration 11g, 12c, 19c on AIX / Linux and on AWSGood Knowledge on various database objects like procedures, packages, functions, MViews, indexes, tables etc.Oracle OEM Grid Installation and AdministrationSQL Query Performance Tuning recommendationsAnalysis of AWR and ADDM reportsManagement of Server Cluster ComponentsShell script to automate tasksSpace ManagementDatapump Backup and restoreRMAN UtilityBackup and recoveryKnowledge on NoSQL in-memory databases like REDISExperience on Replication tools like Shareplex
