Job Purpose

• the incumbent will be responsible for doing FEA analysis of Tire structures enabling new product development and bring improvements in existing products.
• drive prediction of tire performance at the design stage, reducing number of prototypes, and making shorter time to market.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To perform FEA analysis to support Tyre design process
• Prepare detailed FEA reports and present findings to the team along with the recommendations
• Develop new competency and standard methodology in FEA
• Ensure FEA data management and documentation is in order
• Recommend suitable design changes as per FEA results
• Development of advanced simulation methodology

Educational Qualification

Master’s degree in Mechanical/ Rubber Technology (ME/ MTech or Equivalent)

Skills and Knowledge

Good understanding of Basic Finite Element Method (FEA) and Mechanical Engineering.

Hand-on experience in FEA software. Should have worked on Non-linear and dynamic analysis

ABAQUS, HYPERMESH ,

Programming language

(Python preferred)

proficient in MS excel and PPT
