Job Title - Senior Data Engineer


Job Overview- We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in Big Data technologies and a minimum of 8 years in the IT industry. The candidate should be proficient in working with modern data technologies. Should be an expert in Python and Azure Analytics services like Data Lake, DataBricks


Job Location - Gurugram, Jaipur, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bhopal


Key Skills:-

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience, which includes hands-on experience in Big Data Data Engg technologies.
  • Mandatory - Hands-on expert in Python
  • Worked on optimizing spark jobs that process huge volumes of data.
  • Hands-on experience in version control tools like Git .
  • Worked on Azure Analytics services like DataLake, DataBricks,
  • Worked on Azure Compute services like VMs, Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, etc
  • Experience/knowledge of bash/shell scripting will be a plus.
  • Has built ETL processes to take data, copy it, structurally transform it, etc. involving various formats like CSV, TSV, XML, and JSON.
  • Experience in working with fixed-width, delimited, multi-record file formats, etc.
  • Spark/Scala with more data analytics focused than engineering.
  • A person who can do data mining and profiling.
  • He should also be able to create a pipeline ( Data engineering) for new features or data sources to be added.
  • Good to have knowledge of Azure databases DynamoDB etc
  • Hands-on experience in tools like Jenkins to build, test, and deploy applications
  • Awareness of Azure DevOps concepts and working in an automated release pipeline environment.
  • Excellent debugging skills.
  • Candidate should have excellent communication skill
