Position Title: Sr. Technician/Technician - Maintenance

Term of Employment: Third party payroll / contractual

Location preference: Chembur, Mumbai

Edu. Qual.: ITI Electrical with 5years & Diploma with 3yrs. Experience,

No. of years of Relevant Exp. reqd.: minimum 5 years experience preferably Refinery, with bachelors degree in Electrical/ Electronic engineering or Diploma in electrical with 6-8 years of experience .

Job Specialization:

Operation and Maintenance experience in Plant utility (Chiller & compressor, Cooling towers, AHUs, Diesel generators etc.

Job profile:

  • Perform daily / monthly / annual maintenance of MV & LV switchgears , MV/LV circuit

breakers, APFC panels, RTPFC panels, Battery chargers and battery banks.

  • Should be able to perform maintenance work of HT & LT motors & MOVs
  • Should have basic knowledge of Electrical control wiring and automation systems.
  • Should have experience in working on Heat tracer system.
  • Should have basic knowledge of VFD/Soft starters and their application.
  • Should have an ability to identify and troubleshoot the malfunctions, replacing parts and

components.

  • Should have experience of handling shift activities, Operation of DG & Gas Turbines, AHU, etc.
  • Utilizing shears, power saws, cutting torches, and chipper knives to cut structural

components as needed.

  • Creating a suitable maintenance schedule and performing system maintenance

accordingly.

  • Conducting diagnostic testing on malfunctioning systems to determine the root cause of

the malfunction.

  • Replacing damaged or defective structural components as needed.
  • Should be familiar with safety procedures while carrying out electrical work.
  • Keep good Coordination and Communication, good relationship with Team members and Client members.
  • Updating preventive Maintenance checklists of electrical equipments

For HT & LT Motor Work Shop experience as mentioned :

  • Able to carry out dimensions of overall motor parts like, OD of bearing seat on shaft, Bore ID of Housings/end shields etc.
  • Knowledge of Different type of HT/LT motor
  • Skill for execution of removal of bearings, cooling fan etc. by hot work (By using gas cutting set).
  • Operating Skill for grinding machine and Drill machine.
  • Knowledge of practices followed for protection of Electrical equipment against rain and weather.
  • Knowledge of different types of enclosure for dismantling and assembling
