The role of Talend DI and ESB developer is to build real-time and batch Integrations for a US based Retail Holdings company.

Job Description :

- Be the Technical Lead of Designing and Developing Real-Time and Batch Integrations using Talend Studio

- Should be able to work with EDI service providers' technical team and help setup an Integration using Talend.

- Should be able to work independently while developing and deploying Talend jobs to cloud

- Should create detailed Technical Design documents for development team to implement the design

- Must work closely with the client and the client's other vendors for any complex EDI Integrations

- Must be able to work with Talend Support for any product related issues/queries.

- Should be able to design and develop reusable components using Talend Studio

- Must have good exposure to Cloud computing services of any Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)

Knowledge :

- Should have strong understanding of building APIs as well as consuming APIs using Talend DI and/or Talend ESB

- Should be well versed in various API design principles as well as API Authentication methods

- Should have a strong knowledge of components such as tRestClient, tRest, tRestResponse components

- Should have hands on knowledge of using APIs to consume JSON, XML files

- Should have expertise in using talend tMap component.

- Knowledge of HMaps would be advantageous

- Should have very good knowledge of working in a Talend Cloud environment using Talend 7.x or 8.x

- Should have a good understanding of various EDI standards, especially ANSI X12

- Should be aware of the various standard segments that are present in an EDI file

- Familiarity with mapping tools such as Altova will be an added benefit

- Strong understanding of SQL

- Any experience in working with EDI Managed service providers such as Orderful.com, OpenText, will be advantageous.

- Should be able to create detailed mapping documents for processing files sent by EDI service Providers

- Talend DI Certification or Talend API Services Certification will be highly preferred
