*Job Summary:*


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Structural and Design Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Structural and Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural systems for industrial buildings shed and other infrastructure projects. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs meet client requirements and comply with relevant building codes and regulations.


*Key Responsibilities:*


* Design and develop structural systems for buildings and other infrastructure projects

* Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.

* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design meets client requirements

* Develop and review design documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details

* Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders

* Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and dynamic analysis of structures using software such as STAAD or ETABS

* Develop and review construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and estimates

* Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations

* Identify and mitigate potential risks and conflicts during the design process

* Develop cost estimates and schedules for projects

* Stay up-to-date with changes in building codes, regulations, and industry standards

* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

 *Regulatory Compliance:*

 * Ensure designs adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

 * Prepare and review necessary documentation, including permit applications and technical reports.


*Requirements:*


* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred)

* Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility for PE licensure

* 3+ years of experience in civil structural design and analysis

* Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and structural analysis software (STAAD, ETABS)

* Strong understanding of building codes and regulations (e.g. IBC, ASCE 7)

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

* Familiarity with construction methods and materials


*Preferred Qualifications:*


* LEED AP or WELL AP certification

* Experience with BIM software (Revit)

* Experience with simulation software (ANSYS)

* Experience with project management software (MS Project)

* Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM)
