If the public cloud is your future and youre anexperienced Data Engineer and Google Cloud Platform practitioneryoure amazing at solving difficult interesting and complex datachallenges and writing code in Python or other languages then youwould make an exceptional asset to the team.

Youwill be working to continuously advance and standardise their andtheir clients infrastructure and pipelined deployments whilstcollaborating with colleagues to write data wrangling code thatscales and takes advantage of the technologies available in themarket or sometimes using privatesolutions.

Requirements

  • 4years experience in DataEngineering

  • 2 yearsexperience withGCP

  • Experience with machinelearning algorithms DataOps andMLOps

  • Provenexperience working within a team of engineers and taking ownershipand responsibility for individual projectdeliverables
  • Knowledge on Google stack: BQcloud functions dataflow datastore composer model artefactregistry

  • Experience with HadoopAirflow VertexAIetc.

  • Provenexperience in working with templating and scripting languages suchas Python Ruby Go Shell Terraform orequivalent

  • Solid ML orientated CI/CDpipelining skills

  • Provenexperience working in an agileenvironment

  • Youlike nothing more than to watch your colleagues flourish with yoursupport.

  • Be a technicalcloud advocate to a wider audience inside and outside of thebusiness
  • Curiosity Bring fresh and bold ideasto the team and wider firm be it new software or containerisationof existing infrastructure andprojects


Desirable:

  • Experiencein tools like MLFlow Weights & Biases VertexAI Metadataetc

  • Experience increating data pipelines using cloud functions dataflow orcomposer

  • Experience in using GCP modelartefact registry

  • Experiencein applying ML algorithms on real lifedatasets

  • Experience increating prototype web apps usingReact/Streamlit

  • Experiencein developing ML based use cases using generative AImodels


Responsibilities

  • Buildand Run data related cloud infrastructure and software services onGCP.

  • Participate in sharing yourskills and/or mentoring a team ofengineers.

  • Automatelike your life depends on it. Keep out of the console and wherepossible build infrastructure and services with Terraform or otherIaC tools and if not possible script for betterautomation

  • Support the relationshipsof clients and become a trusted deliverypartner.

  • Supportyour wider Engineering community by assisting other teams sharingknowledge debugging problems contributing code to various projectsand any other things you can think of.
  • GTD Getthings done. Use the DevOps approach to Data Engineering to bringcapabilities together and ship feature reach projects ontime.
  • Develop tools services processes andpipelines where needed which are useful in your dailywork
  • Work with DevOps teams and environments onsubjects such as MLOps pipelines performance monitoring securitymonitoring deployment/configuration continuous integration/buildand data resource creationscripts.

  • Enjoy yourself. Maintain andcultivate the culture of yourteam
