Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Plant Metallurgist based in Navi Mumbai. The Plant Metallurgist will be responsible for overseeing metallurgical processes, conducting failure analyses, optimizing extractive metallurgy techniques, and managing leaching operations. Day-to-day tasks will include monitoring and improving process control, ensuring quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address metallurgical challenges.
Qualifications
- Experience in Process Control and Metallurgy
- Knowledge of Extractive Metallurgy and Leaching techniques
- Skills in conducting Failure Analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field
- Previous experience in the welding industry is a plus
- Should be BSC chemistry
- Minimum one year experience in Ferro alloys
- Wet analysis plus instrument experience or handling knowledge
