Job Summary:

The ServiceNow Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within the ServiceNow platform according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role involves coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
  • Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for project-related communications, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and that project objectives are aligned with business needs.
  • Management: Allocate resources, assign responsibilities, and coordinate the activities of project staff to ensure project progress remains on track.
  • Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Management: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Management: Manage project budget, monitor expenditures, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
  • Assurance: Oversee project quality assurance and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Reporting: Provide regular project status reports to stakeholders, including progress updates, risk assessments, and issue resolutions.
  • Review: Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years managing ServiceNow projects.
  • PMP, ITIL, and ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency: Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or SecOps.
  • Management Skills: Proven experience in project planning, execution, and resource management.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Abilities: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members and stakeholders.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
  • Focus: Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
