Interface Specialist

Job Title: Deputy Manager – Interface Coordination ( Capex Project into manufacturing and Immediate Joiners Preferred)Role Objective:To act as the central point of coordination among engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams, ensuring smooth interface management across disciplines and timely resolution of inter-departmental dependencies in solar project execution.Key Responsibilities:Interface Management & Coordination- Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders (engineering, procurement, construction, quality, and planning) to ensure seamless information flow.- Identify and resolve interface-related issues across mechanical, electrical, civil, and instrumentation disciplines.- Facilitate technical discussions and documentation alignment among cross-functional teams.Project Execution Support- Monitor progress of all interfacing activities and flag potential risks or delays.- Prepare and maintain interface registers, communication logs, and tracking sheets.- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for data exchange, drawings, and deliverables.Documentation & Control- Maintain updated interface documents such as interface control documents (ICDs), design deliverables, and approval matrices.- Ensure documentation compliance with contractual and quality standards.Stakeholder Communication- Conduct periodic coordination meetings between internal and external stakeholders.- Provide interface status updates to senior management and project planning teams.- Serve as escalation point for inter-departmental conflicts or delays.Compliance & Quality- Ensure all interface deliverables comply with project specifications, codes, and client requirements.- Assist in pre-commissioning and handover documentation related to interfaces.Qualifications & Experience:- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Instrumentation Engineering.- Experience: 6–10 years in interface coordination / project coordination within solar, EPC, or manufacturing industries.- Preferred Exposure: Utility-scale solar projects, power plant EPC interfaces, or multi-disciplinary project environments.
