Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Snowflake Architect
to design, implement, and optimize our cloud data warehousing solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, strong hands-on experience with SQL, dbt (data build tool), and a solid understanding of enterprise data integration principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance Snowflake data architectures
  • Lead the development of data models and ETL/ELT processes using dbt
  • Establish best practices for data governance, security, and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Optimize cost and performance of Snowflake implementations

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture roles
  • Proven expertise in Snowflake, including architecture design, implementation, and optimization
  • Strong hands-on experience with dbt (data build tool)
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred)
  • Experience with data modeling concepts and methodologies
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data projects

Nice to Have Skills

  • Knowledge of SAP BW and SAP ECC modules and data structures
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)

Personal Attributes

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
