Role & responsibilities
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head - Operations to lead multi-unit operations across healthcare (dental hospitals, specialty clinics) and higher education services. The role is growth centric overseeing operations of the group including patient experience, admissions operations, marketing execution, technology integrations, leading HR / IT Infra and business analytics. The candidate will ensure operational excellence, scalability, and compliance while driving innovation through automation and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Hospital & Clinic Operations
- Lead day-to-day operations for multi-specialty dental hospitals and clinics.
- Prepare process maps and maintains adherence to SOPs, Daily Work Reports (DWR)
- Drive patient engagement and feedback management for continuous service improvement.
Technology & Process Automation
- Oversee CRM and telephony integrations (LeadSquared, Zoho CRM, Knowlarity, Ozonetel, Exotel).
- Monitor marketing and patient acquisition funnels, ensuring ROI and effective campaigns.
- Supervise IT, infrastructure, and software renewal processes in partnership with IT teams.
Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Work with the analytics team to deliver actionable dashboards and reports. Knowledge of Zoho Analytics / Power BI etc. would be advantageous
- Enable data-driven decision-making for management through KPIs and performance tracking.
Marketing & Admissions
- Direct and coordinate marketing activities for hospitals, clinics, and educational institutes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors for campaign planning, execution, and ROI tracking.
- Oversee education admissions operations, ensuring counsellor productivity and conversion optimization.
Human Resources & Team Leadership
- Collaborate with HR for recruitment, approvals, and HRMS implementation.
- Mentor cross-functional teams including operations, IT, HR, analytics, and marketing.
- Establish a culture of accountability, efficiency, and high performance.
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: MBA (mandatory) from a recognized institution (full time and tier 1 or 2 only)
- Experience: 8-15 years total, with at least 4-10 years of post-MBA experience.
- Strong exposure to healthcare or education, or service-driven industries preferred.
- Proven experience in operations management, CRM/telephony systems, and analytics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a high-growth, multi-unit environment.
