Responsibilities

∙Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while

recommending further courses of action.

∙Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take

∙Maintain the financial health of the organization.

∙Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual

performance compared to the business plans.

∙Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.

∙Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

∙Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a

framework for these to be met.

∙Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.

∙Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is

maintained.

∙Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing

on future paths to be taken.

∙Monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank

and credit card accounts

∙Should have Tax experience: TDS, GST, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, PT

∙ROC filing

∙Invoice preparation and payment follow-ups

∙Profit and loss statements and other financial reports.

∙Prepare balance sheets

∙Coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support

as necessary.

∙Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments

and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.

∙Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and

procedures.

∙Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.

∙MIS reporting


Requirements and skills

∙Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in tax, accounting, or finance (CA Intern will also do)

∙Minimum 4-8 years’ experience in accounting/finance

∙Preferred if coming from Consultancy background or any service based company

∙Good Communication skills (should be able to interact with clients)

∙Tally (very important)

∙Should be Deadline oriented

∙Should have reporting skills

∙Should know time management, data entry management

∙A person who can perform a variety of tasks and can work under general supervision
