Private Banking Team Head - Eastern India (Playing Captain) Location:Kolkata, IndiaJob Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Private Banking Team Head in a 'Playing Captain' role to establish and lead our private banking operations in Eastern India. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a high-performing team from scratch, developing strategic client relationships, and driving the growth of our private banking services.Key Responsibilities: Team Development:Build and manage a high-performing private banking team, including hiring, training, and mentoring staff to ensure top-tier client service and compliance with regulatory standards. Client Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), and their families. Strategic Planning:Formulate and implement strategies to increase the market share of private banking services in Eastern India, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals. Product Development:Collaborate with product teams to enhance private banking offerings tailored to the needs of HNW and UHNW clients. Sales and Revenue Growth:Drive sales initiatives, create and implement sales plans, and track performance metrics to ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded. Risk Management:Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies to mitigate risks associated with private banking operations. Market Analysis:Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in private banking services.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional qualifications (CFA, CFP) are preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or related financial services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Skills: Proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders. Deep understanding of investment products, financial planning, and estate planning.
