Inviting applications for the role of
Senior Manager, Record to Report (SEC Reporting)
In this role, we are looking for an accounting graduate with prior accounting experience and should have led a team size of ~50 people. In this role, you will be expected to work on strict deadlines, in a fairly high-pressure business environment while being a good team player.
Prior Record to Report (SEC Reporting) Operations experience in the BPO Industry with driving transformation / projects experience / Robotic implementation experience will be preferred.ResponsibilitiesLead a large R2R team and manage month end, quarter end year end – preparation, be responsible for smooth execution & ensure books are closed on time, Reconciliations, Special Items Accounting, Lease Accounting
Ensure all month/Qtr/Annual activities are completed within agreed time and of highest quality and ensure metrics are met as per agreed KPIs / SLAs targets as applicable.
Perform & review month/Qtr/Annual closing & reporting activities and ensure completion by other team members, as required
Proactive client communication on regular business matters, issues etc. Ensure high quality of information and interaction in MBR's
Proactively anticipate and mitigate any possible process issues or escalations and ensure timely resolution.
Build customer relationship, drive confidence, and improve customer satisfaction.
Ensuring successful transition of activities, ensuring customer sign-off on all relevant documents and bring process to steady-state
Ensure Robust Control Environment leading to compliance on all internal and customer requirements, Proactive Risk Assessment and Mitigation
Ensure successful completion of all internal/external US GAAP/SOX audits, ensuring regular and timely updation of documents and MIS
Responsible for projecting manpower requirement, recruitment, training & development and retention
Drive people engagement practices, improve employee motivation and drive performance to achieve excellence
Lead projects for implementation of new tools & technology, ensure robust LEAN DNA, drive transformation projects
Lead account level initiatives related to multi-functional responsibilities like BCP/ DRP, KSS, Design Thinking etc.
Minimum Qualifications & RequirementsB.Com + Post Graduation in Commerce / MBA (Finance)
10-14 years of experience in Record to Report (SEC Reporting) with hands on experience in Accounting {Lease Accounting, Payroll Accounting, Equity Accounting & Reconciliation activities and 10K/10Q reporting etc.} and prior experience of leading and managing large RTR (SEC Reporting) teams
Good understanding of US GAAP and Strong Analytical Skills
Hands on experience of Accounting ERP systems (like SAP, BL HFM, etc.)
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Flexibility to work in shifts(24X7)
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Excellent interpersonal & leadership skills
Ability to multi-task, work in a high-pressure environment and successfully handle stressful situations.
Ability to learn & adapt to new technologies and drive innovation.
Preferred qualifications
Candidates with CA / CWA degree & relevant experience in General Ledger
