We’re now onboarding our core tech team - the first few engineers who will lay the foundation of this platform. Location: Bangalore (On-site) Experience: 2–5 Years Type: Full-Time | Immediate Joiner Preferred Role Overview We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer (Backend-Heavy) who will lead the backend architecture and overall system design for VedaPixel’s mobile and web ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for developing secure, scalable, and modular systems that power everything from user authentication to GPS logistics and payments. This isn’t just a development role - it’s an opportunity to architect the core stack, influence product direction, and ship the first public release . Key Responsibilities Architect and develop RESTful APIs and backend systems supporting multi-user roles (B2B, Supplier, Admin). Design and manage database schemas, caching layers, and data pipelines for rentals, orders, logistics, and inventory. Build secure payment integrations, wallet modules, and invoicing logic . Integrate GPS tracking and real-time event systems for live operations. Lead DevOps setup - AWS/GCP infrastructure, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines. Implement user authentication, subscription management, and business-tier access control . Collaborate with the frontend team to build APIs that are efficient, modular, and well-documented. Deploy and manage production-ready APIs and microservices at scale. Conduct code reviews, debugging, optimization , and maintain system uptime. What You’ll Work On As one of the founding developers , you’ll: Build the entire backend stack for both Rental and Marketplace sections. Design the pricing engine , order management logic, and payment lifecycle. Integrate delivery logistics , tracking , and service provider management systems. Create internal admin dashboards for analytics, reporting, and partner management. Set up cloud infrastructure and data security protocols (AWS / Firebase). Work closely with the product team to translate business logic into scalable microservices. Ensure successful deployment and hosting of the mobile app APIs . Collaborate on the app’s Play Store and App Store readiness from a backend perspective - compliance, APIs, credentials, and performance. Optimize for scale, availability, and load across thousands of concurrent users. Play a key role in hiring, mentoring, and scaling the tech team over time. Tech Stack (Preferred) Backend: Node.js / Express / Nest.js / Django / Spring Boot Frontend (Exposure): React / Next.js / Flutter Database: PostgreSQL / MongoDB / Redis DevOps: AWS / GCP / Docker / Kubernetes Version Control: Git, GitHub Actions Bonus: Firebase, Pub/Sub, WebSockets, Microservices Architecture Who You Are A builder at heart - someone who thrives in a 0→1 environment.
