Job Summary


Moris Media is seeking a talented Senior Content Writer to develop and execute compelling content strategies for our exciting moCal brand. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in moCal's unique voice and mission, crafting content that informs, inspires, and drives engagement. Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with moCal's brand identity and business objectives.
  • Produce a variety of content formats, including blog posts, articles, website copy, email campaigns, social media posts, product descriptions, and more.
  • Conduct in-depth research on moCal's industry, competitors, and target audience to ensure content is relevant and informative.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, product) to create cohesive campaigns and messaging.
  • Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engine visibility.
  • Proofread and edit all content to uphold high standards of quality.
  • Monitor content performance metrics and suggest data-driven optimizations.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and innovations in content marketing.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities to expand moCal's content reach and impact.
  • May mentor or supervise junior content writers on the moCal brand team.


Primary Skills

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a proven ability to adapt to moCal's distinct brand voice.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS).
  • Solid understanding of marketing strategies and audience targeting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Creative, self-motivated, and adaptable to a changing environment.
  • Proficient in social media platforms and their respective content styles.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of proven experience in content writing or content marketing, ideally with focus on a specific brand or industry niche.
  • Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating versatility and a strong understanding of moCal's target audience would be a strong advantage.


Experience

  • Minimum of 2-4 years in content creation for a brand or within a focused niche.
