Program Manager - Electric Mobility   Who we are and what we do? Position Overview: The Electric Mobility program at WRI India aims to accelerate transport electrification in India, to reduce urban air pollution and support the decarbonization of the sector. We work with national and state level governments, industry stakeholders and technical bodies across a range of projects spanning from research to policy formulation and on-ground implementation. With the growing impetus from the Government of India on the transition to electric vehicles, the E-Mobility team at WRI India offers an exciting and challenging work experience in which dynamic individuals will thrive and grow. 
This position is for a Manager with the E-Mobility program. The role offers a mix of project management, research development and stakeholder engagement, and we are looking for an experienced professional to help lead our initiatives. How your day will unfold: Project Management (40%):
• Lead day-to-day management of assigned projects to ensure timely completion of project deliverables and ensure quality of work for all final deliverables
• Liaise closely with the reporting manager to shape assigned projects
• Manage project timelines and budgets, and guide the project team for successful project delivery
• Contribute to various aspects of project delivery as needed, such as government interfacing, partner management, people engagement, project documentation etc.
• Identify new opportunities and synergies with other ongoing initiatives and projects, and support colleagues across the e-mobility team as needed
• Liaise with other WRI offices and partner institutions for data exchange, information requests and project coordination 
Stakeholder engagement (40%): 
• Lead focused engagements with different government departments, state nodal agencies for EV policy implementation, automobile cluster associations, private enterprises/ start-ups, experts, citizen groups, academia etc, as needed. 
• Build and nurture relationships with different stakeholders by constantly communicating with them about the ongoing/ potential engagements.
• Coordinate and engage specifically with social enterprises, entrepreneurs, investors that may interact and be part of an integrated system that incorporates new technologies in the electric mobility space. 
• Present insights/ findings on behalf of WRI India at relevant multi-stakeholder forums
• Liaise with academic experts, industry professionals and other external stakeholders to gather primary data, seek collaborations and undertake joint projects 
• Work with team members to organize events, workshops, webinars etc. and develop presentations/discussion materials, to present WRI India’s work externally Research (20%): 
• Undertake primary and/or secondary research to develop analyses and recommendations for the e-mobility ecosystem
• Conduct and support data collection, data analysis and present analysis to relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Lead secondary research to complement the interviews and consultations to identify and map the existing needs, gaps, and impact on the electric mobility ecosystem
• Write knowledge products (., reports, briefs, data-products) – independently and as part of a larger team working on specific deliverables
• Develop and articulate clear project concepts and robust project content, backed by research and data
• Keep abreast of industry trends, policy landscape and sectoral developments  Qualifications and requirements we seek:  • Master’s degree in public policy, sustainable transportation, renewable energy, or other related disciplines, with a focus on research-oriented disciplines and an excellent academic track record
• 7-10 years of work experience, with expertise in research and policy analysis
• Knowledge and experience in sustainable transport and electric mobility are a must
• Impeccable writing and verbal skills in English to coherently convey complex information to a technical and policy audience
• Should have experience in writing reports, briefs and academic papers
• Familiarity with sustainable urbanization and transportation, and electric mobility is necessary. 
• Willingness to learn and gain expertise in unfamiliar subjects is necessary
• Ability to lead and undertake initiatives with minimal supervision
• Experience in managing small teams will be preferred  Salary and Benefits : INR 15,00,000 to INR 18,00,000 CTC
