Job Description :


Designing and implementing SAP ABAP solutions :


- You'll work on creating technical solutions within the SAP ABAP environment, ensuring they align with business requirements.

Collaborating with functional and technical teams :


- You'll engage with both functional (business) and technical teams to understand requirements, gather information, and develop effective solutions.

Performing system testing and debugging :


- You'll be responsible for testing the developed programs, identifying and fixing any issues, and ensuring smooth functionality.

Providing technical documentation and support :


- Documenting your work is crucial. You'll create technical specifications, user manuals, and other relevant documentation.


- Additionally, you'll provide support to end-users and address any technical queries.

Ensuring adherence to SAP best practices :


- As an ABAP consultant, you'll follow industry best practices, guidelines, and standards to maintain high-quality code and efficient processes1.

In addition to these core responsibilities, here are some desired skills and qualifications :

- Minimum of 8 years of ABAP experience: Demonstrating your expertise in ABAP development.

- Strong object orientation experience: Understanding and applying object-oriented programming principles

- Gateway development: Knowledge of SAP Gateway services.

- HANA Exposure: Understanding of SAP HANA database technology.

Strong communication skills :


- Effective communication is essential for collaborating with teams and stakeholders.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to write technical specifications: You'll need to analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Retail industry experience (considered a strong asset): If you've worked in retail, it's a plus.

- HCP or Java experience (considered a strong asset): Familiarity with HANA Cloud Platform (HCP) or Java.

- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects: ABAP consultants often work on various tasks simultaneously
