We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Solution Architect to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions. The role involves taking a comprehensive approach to cloud architecture, with a special focus on Ingress/Egress traffic, network policies, alerting, monitoring, system security, data protection, and housekeeping tasks. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, security, scalability, and resilience of cloud solutions, along with managing commissioning and decommissioning processes.

Responsibilities:

Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems to ensure system uptime and performance.

Design and manage network policies to ensure secure, reliable, and optimized network traffic flow (Ingress/Egress).

Perform regular system housekeeping, including updates, backups, and resource management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that cloud architecture, system security, and data protection strategies align with business goals.

Stay updated on the latest trends in cloud technologies, security frameworks, and monitoring solutions.

Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable cloud solutions that prioritize performance, security, and maintainability.

Implement and enforce system security best practices, focusing on data protection, system hardening, and access control.

Participate in incident management and problem resolution to ensure minimal disruption to services.

Document system configurations, processes, and network architecture for operational and compliance purposes.

Requirements

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in an architectural role.

Cloud Platforms: Deep expertise with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Networking: Strong understanding of network architecture, VPNs, VPCs, routing, firewall configurations, and network security policies.

Security: In-depth knowledge of cloud security practices, identity management, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Monitoring Tools: Proficiency in setting up and managing monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog).

Automation: Experience with automation tools and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

Scripting: Solid scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate cloud operations and monitoring.

Problem-solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work on complex cloud issues.

Certifications: Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Architect are highly desirable.- Good to have
