Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Security Engineer to join our dynamic team @CASHe. The Senior Security Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our financial systems, applications, and data.

This position requires a strong technical background in cybersecurity, hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, and a deep understanding of the unique security challenges facing the fintech industry.

Responsibilities :

1. Implement, and manage security controls and measures to protect our financial systems, applications, and data from cyber threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities.

2. Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning to identify and remediate security risks and weaknesses.

3. Monitor security logs and alerts, investigate security incidents, and respond to security breaches in a timely and effective manner.

4. Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and compliance officers, to integrate security into the software development lifecycle and infrastructure deployment processes.

6. Stay up-to-date on emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies in the fintech industry, and recommend security enhancements and improvements accordingly.

7. Work closely with third-party vendors, partners, and service providers to assess security risks and ensure the security of outsourced systems and services.

8. Participate in security audits, assessments, and compliance initiatives to demonstrate adherence to security standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

2. 3 - 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security engineering, operations, or incident response, preferably in the fintech industry.

3. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, standards, and best practices, with knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements, such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and others.

4. Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, endpoint security solutions, and vulnerability management tools.

5. Familiarity with financial systems, applications, and technologies, such as online banking, payment processing, is highly desirable.

6. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or relevant vendor-specific certifications (e.g., CCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty) are preferred.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to think critically under pressure.

9. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a sense of urgency and commitment to excellence
