Intellect offers a full spectrum of banking and insurance technology products.Role: Enterprise ArchitectMandatory Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Native Technologies, Microservices Architecture,PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, MQ, Spring Cloud/Boot and Angular and BankingJob Summary:The Enterprise Architect would be responsible for creating and maintaining a common set of architecture standards and principles to be followed by all the products. Given the mission critical nature of Wholesale Banking product deployments in Banks worldwide, he/she will ensure that the highest standards of architecture, design, security, code quality and non-functional aspects are adhered to at all times.Expected Competencies Minimum 15+ years of experience in technical and enterprise architecture for large and global mission critical applications. Intense flair for technology and a strong understanding of how banking products operate in the global market. Expertise in Cloud technologies (Kubernetes, containerization, deployment), messaging (MQ, Kafka), and database (Oracle, Postgres) is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a vibrant team of architects and effectively work with the development community. Ability to represent the company in technical forums as well as in CXO level customer engagements. Experience in large enterprise systems in the banking or financial sector is a must. Experience in AI (GenAI, ML) to bring in engineering efficiencies and reimagine the user journeys in products will be preferred.Responsibilities: Define and Govern Enterprise Architecture for Wholesale Banking:Establish, maintain, and govern the enterprise architecture standards and principles for the entire suite of Wholesale Banking products, ensuring alignment with the business vision, global regulatory requirements, and mission-critical deployment needs. Drive Architectural Innovation:Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., Cloud Native, AI/ML, distributed ledger) for strategic adoption into the Wholesale Banking product architecture to enhance business value, efficiency, and market competitiveness. Ensure Technical and Architectural Integrity:Provide expert guidance and participate in the design of individual Wholesale Banking products to guarantee technical superiority, scalability, adherence to architectural principles, and high standards of security and code quality. Oversee Non-Functional Compliance:Guide the independent non-functional testing (e.g., performance, security, resilience) of all applications and provide final architectural certification on a periodic basis. Lead Product Automation and DevOps Strategy:Spearhead the automation strategy for the entire product line, defining the architecture, tools, and processes for continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), automated testing, and automated deployments. Enhance Engineering Quality and Productivity:Continuously evaluate and recommend best-in-class tools and processes to improve code quality, developer productivity, and defect prevention across the application lifecycle. Champion Architectural Best Practices:Actively promote and evangelize the adoption of new architectural standards, guidelines, and tools throughout the development and architecture community. Strategic Customer Engagement:Engage with customers in pre-sales, implementation, and post-production phases, serving as a technical expert to positively influence opinion toward product superiority. Provide High-Level Technical Leadership:Assist teams in troubleshooting critical or complex issues when required, ensuring that all architectural learnings are formally incorporated back into the enterprise standards.
