We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Fintech to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both manual and automation testing, particularly using Python, Selenium, and Cucumber. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Fintech applications through rigorous testing methodologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and user stories.
  2. Translate requirements and user stories into comprehensive test cases and scripts.
  3. Conduct manual testing to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of our Fintech applications.
  4. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Selenium, and Cucumber for regression and functional testing.
  5. Perform API testing to validate data integrity and functionality.
  6. Contribute to enhancing our CI/CD processes by implementing automated testing strategies.
  7. Generate detailed reports on test results, including defects and their resolutions.
  8. Create and maintain release documents, ensuring smooth deployment of software updates.
  9. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in QA testing and Fintech.
  10. Demonstrate high ownership and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  11. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-learning within the team.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 5 to 7 years of experience in QA testing, preferably in the Fintech industry.
  3. Proficiency in manual and automation testing using Python, Selenium, and Cucumber.
  4. Strong understanding of regression, functional, and API testing methodologies.
  5. Basic knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
  6. Experience in writing test cases and test scripts, particularly in Postman.
  7. Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
  8. Understanding of defect lifecycle and experience in managing defects effectively.
  9. Knowledge of cloud technologies like GCP.
  10. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy).
  11. Experience with NoSQL databases and technologies, such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis.
  12. Familiarity with tools like Kafka, Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, and test case management tools.
  13. Proficiency in web and mobile test automation frameworks.
  14. Expertise in test strategy and documentation.
  15. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  16. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  17. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  18. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
  2. Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
  3. Familiarity with financial services and banking systems.
