Responsibilities Deriv e isometric drawin gs and material take-offs from th e 3D mode l, ensuring precision and uniformity. Prepare and draft piping plans, elevations, sections, and details utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to create precise 3D models. Assist in the creation of bills of materials (BOMs) and material requisitions for piping components. Employ specialized software t o create precise 3D models of piping syste ms, encompassing both process piping and both above-ground and underground installations. Confirm that the models comply with project specifications and industry standards. Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to grasp project requirements and limitations. Analyze technical drawings and schematics to produce accurate 3D representations. Review vendor drawings and documentation related to piping component

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required. The applicant must possess a minimum of four years of relevant experience. Expertise in utilizing piping engineering software and tools, including AutoCAD and 3D modeling applications (such as PDMS, PDS, and Smart Plant 3D), is necessary. A solid understanding of piping design, layout, stress analysis, material selection, and applicable industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API) is essential.
