We are looking for a Senior Database Testing Engineer for one of our direct client.


Job Title: Senior Database Testing Engineer

Job Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, Hyderabad

Shift Timing: 12PM to 9PM IST


JOB DESCRIPTION:

In this role you will be expected to:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test plans, cases, tools, automation strategy, and defect reporting.
  • Conduct pre-planned tests, document errors, and provide steps for reproduction and resolution.
  • Perform risk analysis and identify potential automated test scenarios.
  • Design and implement automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Identify and diagnose performance and load issues.
  • Collaborate with QA Engineers and other disciplines, following guidance from Automation Lead and QA Manager.
  • Support and mentor software QA engineers, providing advice and coaching.
  • Evaluate project performance and provide leadership and mentorship to QA engineers.
  • Assist in identifying and overcoming technical difficulties.
  • Develop functional knowledge of the business.
  • Possess experience in functional testing, including strategy, planning, design, and execution.
  • Analyze test results and communicate accurately.
  • Handle complex quality assurance testing and environment issues.


YOUR PROFILE:

  • Should have more than 5 Years of experience with the below tools and software.
  • TS-QL: Proficiency in writing and executing TS-QL queries for database testing and validation.
  • Python (PyCharm): Strong knowledge and experience in Python programming language, specifically using PyCharm as the integrated development environment (IDE).
  • C#: Expertise in C# programming language for developing test automation frameworks and scripts.
  • Selenium: In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with Selenium.
  • JMeter: Proficiency in using JMeter, a performance testing tool, to design and execute load and stress tests for applications.
  • Postman: Strong knowledge of Postman, an API testing tool, for designing and executing API test cases and validating responses.
  • Test Management Tool: Experience with a test management tool (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) to effectively manage test cases, test execution, and track defects.
  • CI/CD (Jenkins or AzDO): Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps (AzDO) for automating build, test, and deployment pipelines.
  • Performance Testing: Proficiency in conducting performance testing, including load testing, stress testing, and analyzing system behavior under different scenarios.
  • AzDo: Knowledge of Azure DevOps (AzDo) platform for managing software development projects, including source control, work item tracking, and release management.
  • SDLC: Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and ability to align testing activities accordingly.
  • Multibrowser Testing: Experience in testing applications across multiple web browsers (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) to ensure compatibility and consistent functionality.
