About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and resourceful Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads for contract-based work from gig platforms. You will identify skilled professionals on these platforms who match our project requirements and build relationships with them to convert them into paying contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively source and identify potential contractors on relevant gig platforms.
- Develop a deep understanding of the gig platforms and their functionalities.
- Create compelling outreach messages to attract top talent.
- Build rapport and establish trust with potential contractors.
- Effectively communicate project requirements and negotiate contract terms.
- Pre-screen and qualify potential contractors based on skills, experience, and availability.
- Maintain a strong understanding of our company's needs and identify the best talent for each project.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of lead generation strategies for gig platforms.
- Track and report on lead generation activities and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or a similar role.
- Proven track record of success in lead generation.
- Strong understanding of gig platforms and their workings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
