Location : 5 days WFO - Bangalore (Preferred) / Pune.

Notice Period : Immediate to max 30 days.

Mandatory skills : Network security, offensive cybersecurity, Networking protocols, Suricata signatures, Snort(less preferred)

Mandatory Qualifications :

- Offensive cybersecurity



- Working knowledge of Networking Protocols



- Composing Suricata Signatures. (Even Snort is also fine, but that would be a less preferred alternative)



- The requirement is for someone who has experience in writing signatures themselves and not just somebody who has used Overview :


As a Network Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the security posture of our esteemed clientele by implementing robust network security measures. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of network infrastructure while proactively identifying and mitigating potential security risks.

Key responsibilities :
  • Develop and implement comprehensive network security strategies to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and address network vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy security solutions tailored to meet specific client requirements.
  • Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and respond promptly to security incidents, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
  • Configure and manage intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) such as Suricata, leveraging your expertise in composing and fine-tuning signatures.
  • Utilize offensive cybersecurity techniques to simulate real-world attacks and evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls.
  • Stay abreast of the latest security trends, emerging threats, and industry best practices to continually enhance our security posture.
