We are looking for a skilled Software Development Test Engineer  (Test Platform/Backend Testing) to join our dynamic team. In this role you will take part in the software development life cycle and perform all backend testing / QA Automation duties ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.You will work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.


Key Duties:

  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on features and usability.
  • Ability to write functionally correct and readable automation code.
  • Translate use cases and/or technical specifications into test cases using programming language.
  • Identify test data requirements and generate required data to support testing.
  • Security/Vulnerability Testing.
  • Work on building a test automation framework by adding libraries.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of QA Automation / SDET experience.
  • Experience building testing frameworks, tools and automation.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python) and experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. JUnit, TestNG).
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) and techniques.
  • Good to have have hands-on experience with DB testing.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Proficiency in frontend testing frameworks and tools (Cypress).
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or related fields is a plus.
