Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Production Merchandising to lead our merchandising team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production merchandising, from concept to completion, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, cost-efficiency, and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management:
Lead and manage the production merchandising team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with NewMe’s overall business goals and objectives.
Supplier & Vendor Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure the best terms for NewMe.
Ensure suppliers meet NewMe’s quality and ethical standards.
Quality Control:
Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure all products meet NewMe’s standards.
Address any production issues promptly and effectively.
Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on merchandising activities.
Use data to drive decision-making and optimize merchandising strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4-10 years of experience in Production merchandising, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of the fashion industry.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
Proven track record of successful product development and merchandising.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Commitment to sustainability and ethical production practices.
