Is developing architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of product.In particular for multidomain controller for application with the field of active safety (ADAS) L0 - L4 Within this role the System Architect needs to be familiar with different vehicle architects to understand the challenges and differences of the actual systems to be able to define solution for future applicationsPlans and monitors SYS.3 work planned for all product releases and program increments (PIs)Analyzes and structures system capabilities and features based on the system requirementsAnalyzes and documents system design alternativesAligns architecture strategies with Project/Platform OwnerAligns system architecture with the stakeholdersAllocates system requirements of any given product release to physical and logical architecture elements in advance of scheduled feature development for that releaseResponsible for architecture tool chainDefinition of logical and physical product system architecture and actively driving integration of SW, HW and ME by defining and aligning logical & physical interfacesDefines system interfaces (internal and external)Defines CPE/CQE tester designStakeholder of the Program Increment planning, system demos and retrospectivesSupport system FMEASupports the Product System Safety Architect on the Technical Safety Concept development Defines the system architecture strategies and SYS.3 part of System & Software Development Plan (SSDP)Develops the Product System Architecture & DesignDecides about technology usageDefines the Product naming convention, such as system component, parameter and signal names (used in SYS.3 and all of downstream engineering (SW/HW))Your BackgroundKey ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:Master(Bachelor) degree in science or eng. or equivalent professional experience (R)Several years of experience in the field of embedded systems design and model based development using SysML (R)Advance knowledge on vehicle architecture within the areas of ADAS ECUs covering functions like line departure warning, lane assist, freeway pilot, pedestrian recognition, break assist, etc. (R)Advanced knowledge on functional level for smart Cameras & Radars & Lidars (R)Expert in understanding requirements derived out of ISO 26262 and for CyberSecurity (R)Deep & detailed understanding of BCM’s HW & SW(R)Knowledge of all automotive suppliers for smart drivers & MCU’s & communication (R)Expert knowledge regarding development of embedded systems (R)Excellent organizational and communication skills (R)Strong team work spirit (R)Fluent English (R)Why join us?You can grow at Aptiv.
