Experience with developing in Kotlin (strong Java background will suffice) is recommended, but not required.

EMPI

Experience with working in Rust language (or experience with C++). Comfortable with memory safety principles, and programming methods. This is not required, but will be helpful

General Knowledge

Experience in the healthcare domain is preferred.

FHIR experience is a plus

Be comfortable (open to learning a language) learning new languages, and have some experience in a static typed languageis helpful. Will be using Kotlin, and Rust languages

Understand concurrency models and implications/challenges involved.

Docker/docker compose. Capable of using images. Understand the concept of multi-stage builds.

Gradle usage with multi-project builds

SSH. Know how to obtain remote access and navigate on the remote machine.

MySQL. Good database background, performance implications of big data.

Git, and best practices

Some experience with full stack development.

Bash/Linux

Understand the concepts behind symmetric and asymmetric cryptography.

Information Security and Compliance Responsibilities

Maintain compliance with training directives required by the organization pertaining to Information Security, Acceptable Use Policy and HIPAA Privacy and Security. Adhere to and comply with the organizations Acceptable Use Policy. Safeguard information system assets by identifying and reporting potential and actual security events to the organizations Security and Compliance Officers.
