Qualification:
A civil engineering degree. 15 years of relevant experience in traffic and transportation engineering (Preferably for Canada or US region). Strong verbal communication and presentation skills. Strong technical skills in traffic engineering and transportation planning.Experience:
Carrying out multimodal analyses on a variety of traffic and transportation projects, including Transportation master plan studies, TIS, and Signal optimization projects and … Expertise in transportation and traffic engineering software such as Aimsun, VISSIM, VISUM, Synchro, VISTRO and HCM. In developing policies, guides or conceptual plans and designs related to soft mobility (traffic calming measures, active transportation, etc.) and universal accessibility. Traffic safety analysis (safety auditing, relevant statistical methods, and benefit/cost analysis). Knowledge of transit Operations.Please note that the following will be considered assets:
Experience in ITS and advanced traffic management systems. Experience in Auto-Turn analysis. Experience with temporary condition construction staging analysis and traffic controls. Bilingual French/English.What We Can Offer You:
