GoPlugable is a company that provides a platform for Plugable EV owners to connect their home chargers to a community-powered network. This network allows other EV users to share and access these chargers, promoting convenient and sustainable transportation.


Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a React Native Developer at GoPlugable. The React Native Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications using React Native. They will collaborate with the front-end and back-end development teams to ensure seamless integration with the platform and create an engaging user experience. The React Native Developer will also be involved in troubleshooting and optimizing performance for mobile applications.


Responsibilities :


• Develop and maintain mobile applications using the React Native framework.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.

• Identify and fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and improve application performance.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in mobile development and propose innovative solutions to enhance our mobile applications.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

• Work closely with designers and product managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.

• Contribute to the planning and estimation of development tasks and adhere to project timelines and deadlines.


Requirements :


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in mobile application development using React Native.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and its modern ES6+ syntax.

• Solid understanding of React Native architecture, components, and APIs.

• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.

• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications:


• Experience with additional mobile development frameworks or technologies (e.g., Swift, Kotlin).

• Familiarity with native iOS and Android development tools and languages.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Enzyme.

• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Fastlane).

• Contributions to open-source projects or participation in developer communities.
