About the role Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships & Fundraising, this role needs an experienced and effective business development professional with a strong track record in corporate partnership acquisition and retention and driving a range of partner-funded deliverables within the non-profit sector. You will own a strategic partnership pipeline, manage complex multi-year relationships, and deliver against ambitious income targets. This role sits within the Engagement, Growth & Reputation Division, working closely with teams across brand, communications and digital to deliver best-in-class partner experiences. As a senior leader within the Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising team, you will play a key role in embedding a culture of fundraising across headspace and inspiring colleagues to champion partnerships and philanthropy. You will lead two direct reports and support their growth and development while driving strong performance. This role is being offered full time (1.0 FTE), or part time - 4 days per week (0.8 FTE) until April 2027. You have a deep commitment to headspace's work and supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people. The incumbent will also be confident to engage and present to influential stakeholders, both internally and externally. We are looking for an experienced and effective corporate partnerships professional to lead development and acquisition activities for values-aligned partners, manage relationships with our wonderful current partners, and develop workplace/payroll giving and other corporate fundraising initiatives. What you'll do Establish strong working relationships with current corporate partners and business supporters to deliver genuinely collaborative and sustainable outcomes. Lead business development to secure new high-value corporate partnerships aligned to headspace strategy. Own and manage a strategic partnership pipeline including prospecting, qualification, due diligence and stewardship. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior corporate stakeholders and decision-makers. Manage complex, multi-year partnerships including national campaigns and cause-related marketing initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure funded projects are delivered, evaluated and reported effectively. Lead corporate partner communications including newsletters, reporting and stewardship activities. Manage budgets and deliver against revenue targets. Lead, coach and develop two direct reports to build a high-performing team, (Supporter Engagement Advisor and CRM and Lifecycle Lead). Ensure partnerships comply with headspace governance, risk and brand management frameworks. Who we're looking for 5+ years' experience in corporate partnerships, fundraising, business development or account management. A proven track record of securing and growing high-value partnerships. Strong experience managing prospect pipelines, due diligence processes and CRM systems. Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and present to senior corporate stakeholders. Exceptional written communications skills, with experience crafting compelling proposals and impact reports. Strong negotiation and relationship management capability. Proven people leadership experience, including coaching and performance development. Commercial acumen with strong budget and revenue management skills. High levels of organisation, initiative and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
