FS Life is a group of homegrown brands that are thoughtful, and relevant and solve unmet apparel and lifestyle needs for modern Indian women. It was launched in September 2016 with FableStreet, a premium western wear brand focused on providing the best fit for Indian women. It has now evolved into a multi-brand organization with Pink Fort — a modern Indian wear brand reimagining traditional clothing for the woman of today and March — a silver jewellery brand.

About the role:

We are looking to hire a Senior Fashion Designer responsible for creating innovative and trendy Western wear collections. This role requires a deep understanding of fashion trends, a strong creative vision, and extensive experience in Western wear. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing successful collections and the ability to guide and inspire a team of designers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead the conceptualization and development of Western wear collections from initial idea to final product.Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, fabrics, and techniques relevant to Western wear.Create detailed sketches and oversee the development of prototypes and samples.Work closely with other departments including marketing, merchandising, and production to ensure cohesive product development and successful launches.Oversee fittings and alterations, ensuring designs meet the highest quality and functionality standards.Identify and liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and ensure timely production.Mentor and develop junior designers, fostering a creative and productive team environment.Prepare and present design concepts and collections to senior management and stakeholders.Managed a 2-3 member design team

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Fashion Design or a related field from NIFT and Pearl AcademyMinimum of 6-8 years of experience in fashion design, with at least 3-4 years focused on Western wear.Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD).Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and textiles specific to Western wear.Excellent sketching and illustration skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
