Backend Engineer

Job Description :


- Sound computing knowledge of algorithms, data structures, patterns and practises for AWS

- AWS - Microservices architecture and writing highly scalable microservice backends

- Lambda Functions, , API Gateway, EC2, Auto Scale, Cloud Watch, SNS, S3, Cloudfront, Serverless, Cloudformation, IAM and Resources

- Serverless framework and express framework mandatory

- Elastic Cache, Redis expertise required

- Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana or Mongodb/Redis search expertise required

- Exposure to Cloudwatch and monitoring distributed services required

- MediaConvert, Elemental knowledge on AWS will be a big plus

- JWT / OAuth / AWS Cognito / Other auth

- Containers - Docker and Kubernetes will be a plus

- Excellent patterns and practises for AWS Architectures - Well Architectured Framework

- Knowledge of Deployment Architectures for large scalable backends.

- Security -WAF, Guard Duty etc

- VPC, Network configurations

- Databases and resilience patterns

- Excellent NodeJS skills with Javascript ES5 / ES6 / Serverless Framework

- Database experience should include MongoDb Atlas, Redis, Postgres, MySql, Dynamodb and Graph Databases

- Exposure to building

- Exposure to variety of 3rd party system integrations is required

- CRM, Billing, Payment gateways, analytics, OSS / BSS systems

- Exposure to Unit testing and CI / CD using any tools is mandatory

- Jenkins, Bamboo, Github Actions etc

- Sharp skills on Git and Code Management required

- Exposure to JIRA, Confluence is mandatory

- Exposure to Agile Methodologies will be mandatory
