Position Title: Assistant Manager, Intellectual Property

Type: Full time

Location: Thane, Maharashtra.


Position Overview:

Work on product strategy evaluations, provide IP clearances and support patent litigations.


Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluating the IP landscape for a product or technology

• Evaluating product strategies.

• Discussing patent scenario with stakeholders and defining product strategy

• Doing searches using various paid and free databases.

• Providing IP clearance after assessments

• Supporting patent litigations

• Co-ordinating with patent attorneys on strategy or litigation matters.

• Leading discovery work, when needed

• Supporting assessments for product portfolio.

• Conducting evaluations for product filings in various jurisdictions including US, Canada, UK, EU and others.


Qualification:

• Must have 6-12 years of experience in product strategy evaluations, providing IP clearances and supporting patent litigations in various jurisdictions including US, CA, UK, EU and others.

• Should be an M.Pharm/PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

• Good analytical skills.

• Good oral and written communication skills.
