Key Accountability 1: Lead the preparation and implementation of the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) in compliance with the World Bank's Environmental and Social Framework (ESF)

Key Activities:

  • Develop, review, and finalize RAP ensuring alignment with ESF and national regulations
  • Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and affected communities during RAP preparation and execution
  • Monitor RAP implementation progress, addressing issues and ensuring timely corrective actions. Identify project requirements and translate them into functional specifications for ICT-based monitoring tools
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely data input and system integration across departments
  • Maintain and update systems to reflect changing project needs and improve performance
  • Provide training and technical support to end-users to ensure effective system utilization

  • Monitor and implement measures to safeguard community health, safety, and well-being during project activities. Implement security protocols to protect system and data
  • Schedule regular data backups and verify integrity

  • Prepare periodic progress reports for management, client, and donor agencies.Develop user guides and training materials.

Ideal Person Specification

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, 05 years of similar experience in social screening, preparation and implementation of Resettlement Action Plan, GBV, Community and Workers Health and Safety etc
  • Experience in World Bank or other development partner - funded projects is essential. Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in developing ICT systems for project monitoring
