The Infrastructure team is responsible for multiple functional areas which include Access & Identity Management, Linux computing, Discovery, Networking, Observability, SDLC, and Storage, built on top of AWS, which provides the foundation upon which our customer-facing financial technology platform builds and runs. Infrastructure is a high-impact engineering team that builds new services, automates systems, integrates cloud & open-source software, and operates critical systems depending on the needs of the firm.We are looking for an exceptional technologist to join our Infrastructure team. The candidate will be involved building complex next generation product used by our teams and architecting solutions to support new technical and business initiatives.This position is for BLR/HYD/NCR.

What You'll Do:Contribute to the technology vision of the firm and guide the transformation across verticalsEngineer our Linux compute platform based on Kubernetes and AWSBuild infrastructure applications, write, and review code as neededSolve problems with a combination of coding and implementation of open-source toolsTroubleshoot and debug complex systemsLeverage our design, coding, automation, and implementation skills to engineer what Arcesium needs, solving business and technology problemsEngage actively with the tech community via blogs, knowledge-sharing sessions, and other mediums to increase employee knowledge and skills to support future growthEstablish policies, tenets, and processes that help guide the transformationLead by example by building frameworks, and libraries that help accelerate the transformation across the firmProvide visible leadership for the unit within the technology communityMentor Senior Engineers across the firm by providing guidance and coaching

What You'll Need:A bachelor’s degree in engineering with 14+ years of experience in IT industryProven track record of ownership of critical systems and delivery of systems and features. You have owned and operated critical infrastructure systems like Linux, Kubernetes, DNS, Kerberos, and/or AWS IAMPolyglot programming capability, with advanced level Python ability. Other languages in our ecosystem include Java, Go, and BashSolid understanding of Linux Operating SystemSolid understanding of KubernetesExperience with running critical workloads on AWSExperience in preparing business proposals with benefits and driver, financial meritsHands-on experience with the evaluation of open-source frameworks, libraries, and tools with rapid prototypingPenchant to explore and learn new technologiesStrong bias towards engineering and operational excellenceExperience guiding/mentoring highly skilled engineersAbility to oversee multiple technology initiatives and engagements concurrentlyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent leadership and motivational skills
