Job Description:
As a Workday HCM Core Test Engineer , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of our Workday HCM Core module. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, validate software functionality, and drive continuous improvement in our testing processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications provided by product managers and developers, focusing on the Workday HCM Core module.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of the Workday HCM Core module.
  • Conduct functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure software stability.
  • Report and track defects found during testing using defect tracking systems and work closely with developers to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Workday testing tools (e.g., Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder) to streamline the testing process and increase test coverage.
  • Document test plans, test cases, test results, and other relevant artifacts to maintain thorough documentation and ensure traceability throughout the testing process.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
  • Stay updated on Workday HCM platform updates, new features, and best practices in Workday testing to incorporate relevant advancements into the testing approach.

Requirements Qualifications:
  • 4+ Years of experience in Workday HCM or enterprise software.
  • Strong understanding of Workday HCM functionalities and configuration.
  • Experience with Workday testing tools (e.g., Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting and data validation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good to have:
  • Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) and HCM Core systems (e.g., Workday HCM Fundamentals, Oracle HCM Cloud Certification) are a plus.
