Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with IRDAI regulations, support due diligence activities, and contribute to investor relations, while maintaining robust accounting processes for our growing insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and IRDAI requirements.
  • Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns applicable to the insurance broking business.
  • Manage internal, statutory, and IRDAI audits, ensuring prompt resolution of audit observations.
  • Oversee reconciliation of premium collections, commissions, and payments to insurance partners.
  • Monitor accounts receivable/payable and ensure accurate ledger management.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting for business performance tracking.
  • Conduct financial due diligence for audits, compliance reviews, and potential business initiatives.
  • Assist in investor relations by preparing financial reports, presentations, and responding to financial queries from stakeholders and partners.
  • Maintain compliance with IRDAI circulars, accounting policies, and company SOPs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial data analysis and decision-making support.

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant with 3–6 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in BFSI/Insurance sector.
  • Strong understanding of IRDAI compliance, taxation (direct & indirect), and corporate laws.
  • Experience in due diligence, audit processes, and financial stakeholder reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software (Tally, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

  • Prior experience in insurance broking or financial services industry
