Job Title: Technical Architect (PsP Specialist)

We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Architect (PsP Specialist) with deep expertise in the Payments domain, particularly in the UPI ecosystem, to join our dynamic team. In this leadership role, you will design, implement, and guide the technological architecture for our BHIM platform, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and innovation. Your expertise in high-volume transaction systems and modern architectural patterns will be critical in shaping the future of BHIM and advancing our technical capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design & Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of the technological architecture for the BHIM platform, ensuring scalability, modularity, and flexibility to accommodate future growth and changes.
- Tech Leadership: Provide guidance to the technical team in implementing the technology strategy. Actively engage in coding to resolve technical challenges and maintain a robust solution.
- Crisis Management: Lead the team during critical situations and guide them through complex problem-solving, especially in the context of payment systems (PsP).
- Innovation & Problem Solving: Constantly explore new ways to solve complex technical challenges, proposing innovative solutions that challenge the status quo.
- Technology Strategy: Collaborate with technical leads to define the long-term technology vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry trends.
- Performance & Code Quality: Drive the team to adopt best practices in software engineering, actively participating in code reviews, improving code quality, and resolving technical impediments.
- Coaching & Mentorship: Serve as a mentor to technical team members, fostering growth, skill development, and a culture of continuous learning.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Payments Domain Expertise: 15+ years of experience in the Payments (PsP) domain, with deep knowledge of UPI and its ecosystem.
- Tech Architecture: Proven experience designing and implementing high-performance tech architectures for high-volume digital transaction platforms.
- Modern Architectural Patterns: Strong experience with microservices, event-driven systems, messaging, and distributed system architectures (e.g., Kafka, ELK, Cassandra, in-memory databases).
- Technology Stacks: Expertise in technologies such as React Native, Flutter, Golang, and Java, with a strong focus on scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
- Agile Leadership: Extensive experience in Agile development practices, acting as a technical leader and mentor, working closely with product owners, agile coaches, and cross-functional teams.
- Distributed Systems: Proficiency in designing distributed systems and managing large-scale transactional platforms.
