Roles And Responsibility:

Vertiv is launching a new department in Pune, India in the field of power electronics and we are looking for New Jr. Product Project Managers. This project will focus on Single Phase UPS products.

What will this role focus on?

  • Assisting with and sometimes managing a number of projects related to design and manufacturing of new products
  • New Product Development lifecycle; gathering requirements, creating specifications, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, product launch
  • Tracking and monitoring of hours for the LoB

What can you expect on a daily basis?

  • You will assist in plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated new product development projects or strategic initiatives
  • You will be assisting in reviewing project charter, business case and requirements to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
  • You will confer with appropriate LOB offering management to outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
  • You will assist in establishing a work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arrange for assignment of project personnel.
  • You will assist in directing and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget

What are we looking for? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, business or equivalent experience
  • 1 - 3 years' experience is preferred in a program management type role, with an emphasis on new product development environment
  • Experience leading diverse geographical teams with different cultures, languages and backgrounds
  • Expertise in problem solving and decision making
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Experience with Smartsheet and PowerBI
  • Strong knowledge project management standards and practices
  • Strong communication skills in English (oral and written) – you will be working closely with our international teams worldwide
